My first tattoo! It’s above my left elbow crease and it’s Florence + the Machine lyrics from “Only if For a Night”; “And I heard your voice as clear as day…”
Basically, it’s my own form of a memorial tattoo; I had a dream and my friend Juli, who had recently passed away, talked to me in it, and I heard her voice like she was really there. I also had a dream like this with my Poppy when he passed away years ago. Also, bonus: it’s in my mom’s handwriting. I’m completely in love with it.
I got it done by Gus at Colorwheel Tattoo in Shillington, PA-he is phenomenal! And it barely hurt at all. This was taken right after it was finished. It has healed perfectly. I will be going back to Gus for many, many more tattoos in the future!
