This is my third tattoo and inked by Liucifer Ling in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A little bit about the bird on my left ribs:
1) This is a Rhinoceros Hornbill, one of the largest hornbills. Found in Borneo, Sumatra, Java, Malay Peninsula and southern Thailand.
2) For some Dayak people, it represents their war god, Singalang Burong and it still enjoys an exalted status as Sarawak’s state emblem.
3) Sarawak (where I’m from) also known as Bumi Kenyalang / Land of the Hornbills.
