Please keep in mind that I have to read the caption of every submission before I approve it. I like knowing the stories behind your tattoos, and I encourage you to include that if you want to. I enjoy it, and I know a lot of followers do too. But I’d also really rather you didn’t write me a novella because yours is not the only one I have to read—I go through at least a thousand submissions each week.

So, um, maybe, from now on, if the story behind your tattoo is longer than a college admission essay, either shorten it by a lot or, at least, throw a couple explosions and a car chase into the story. I’m just saying.
