I have a great fondness for detective stories and particularly for Sherlock Holmes and his many reincarnations. This skull is a small homage to the greatest detective of them all.

Gallifreyan circular writing. This one says “I will love you forever" but to most people just looks like a dinosaur eating a giant cookie.
Is adventure time still a fandom? If so, here is my Marceline!

I’ve always loved comic books and am an avid/diehard joker fan. So when it came time to choosing my next tattoo I decided to go with the look of the joker from the most recent DC comics new 52 “Death of the Family" story arc, that introduces a faceless joker who wears his sliced off face like a mask. This is my 6th tattoo and without a doubt the most memorable one of all. I got this done on July 18th in Philadelphia, PA at Art Machine Productions. This particular piece wasn’t done by one of their in house artists though, it was actually done by Hungarian artist Robert Borbas also known as Grindeign who was guest spotting at the shop for the month during the summer. After 3 years of being internet pals he finally made it over to the states and guaranteed me an appointment with him as long as I could make it. With that in mind my best friend and I decided to make an 8 hour road trip from North Carolina all the way to PA for me to have this dream come true. I love everything about this piece and I hope many of you will too.

I submitted this a couple years ago when I first got it, so if you don’t use it again that’s fair enough, but it fits the nerd theme.
Behold, my Doctor Who tattoo—a Van Gogh styled TARDIS. This show means more to me than I could begin to say, and Van Gogh has always been a favorite of mine. If you’re a;so a creator who watches the show, I’m sure that you know how the end of “Vincent and the Doctor" affected me as a writer/musician, so I needed a tattoo for it. It’s my first DW tattoo, but by no means my last.
At the very least, I’m planning on getting some sort of background around it to make it look a bit more interesting.
Got it at Eternal Images in Tiffin, OH.
